From Couch to Jupyter: A Beginner’s Guide to Data Science Tools & Concepts

The workshop aims to equip beginner data scientists with a solid foundation of basic tools, concepts & resources from which to launch their life-long journey of exploration and self-learning in the field. Catered towards an audience with little to no background in data science, the workshop will touch on:
– how to access and work with Jupyter Notebooks
– data types and basic computation
– data structures and basic manipulation
– data cleaning & exploration using Pandas
