For the eighth year, MIT, Harvard, and Microsoft Research New England are proud to collaborate with Women in Data Science (WiDS) Worldwide to bring the WiDS regional conference to Cambridge, Massachusetts. This one-day conference will feature an all-female line up of speakers and panelists from academia and industry to talk about the latest data science-related research in a number of domains, to learn how leading-edge researchers and companies are leveraging data science for success.

We plan to have three plenary speakers, a keynote, and two panels: one on Data science for humanitarian work in conflict zones, and another panel on Responsible AI: Democratization of AI tools & AI for sustainability. Throughout the day, we also have lightning talks, a student and postdoc poster session, and networking and recruitment opportunities for the audience, which is a mix of academic and industry professionals working in the field of data science.

Recordings of our 2023 talks and panels can be accessed here. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLYx2nCJDi_QHXesnrKfvEazS28kvSk7Y6
