WiDS Worldwide is pleased to welcome Wendy Batchelder as Interim Executive Director, providing experienced leadership and continuity as the organization moves through this period of transition.
Wendy brings more than two decades of experience across data, analytics, AI, and technology leadership. A three-time Chief Data & Analytics Officer, she has held executive data leadership roles at organizations including Centene Corporation, Salesforce, VMware, and Wells Fargo. She is also the author of Data Governance Handbook: A Practical Approach to Building Trust in Data and recently joined CDO Magazine’s Global Board.
Stepping in from her position on the WiDS Advisory Committee, Wendy brings a strong commitment to mentorship, learning, and developing the next generation of data leaders.
Beyond her professional work, Wendy has a longstanding commitment to public service. She has served as a foster parent and dedicated nearly two decades to volunteering and board service with United Way of Central Iowa, reflecting her commitment to strengthening communities and expanding opportunities for underserved populations.
As Interim Executive Director, Wendy will work closely with the WiDS Advisory Committee and team to support our global community and partners, help guide organizational priorities, and provide continuity while the search for WiDS Worldwide’s next permanent Executive Director continues.
