Women in Data Science Worldwide and Burtch Works Announce UpLink: A Career Advocacy Platform

Ford and Klaviyo are amongst the inaugural companies registered for UpLink, an innovative career advocacy platform jointly developed by WiDS and Burtch Works to boost women’s representation in Data Science and AI to 30% by 2030.


Women in Data Science Worldwide, a leading global nonprofit based in California, announces they have partnered with Burtch Works, a leading talent solutions company specializing in Data Science, AI, and Engineering, to improve recruiting and hiring experiences for women in technical roles.

Introducing WiDS UpLink: A Catalyst for Women in Data Science

This partnership heralds the launch of WiDS UpLink, an innovative career advocacy platform designed to offer advantages and benefits for WiDS members, including:

  • Career Advancement: Members can find employment opportunities tailored to their needs, including full-time positions, short and long-term contracts, contract-to-hire roles, and internships. WiDS members will have access to  resources to help with interviewing, resume creation, negotiations, and upskilling.
